The exhibitor and product database for the 2023 interpack trade and packaging show is now available online, allowing visitors to preview the unique range of products on the website. JThe exhibitor profile where exhibiting companies can present their activities in detail is at the heart of the database.

For international professionals in the food, beverage, confectionery and bakery, pharmaceutical, cosmetics, non-food and industrial sectors, interpack is the relevant platform to discover innovations, trends and product developments.

It acts as a benchmark as these industries face several challenges: moving to digital processes, adapting previous packaging and process workflows to an even more sustainable strategy, new consumption habits and supply bottlenecks.

For all these questions, the approximately 2,700 exhibitors at interpack will offer possible solutions and consultations over the coming year. Exhibiting companies can present their companies individually and present their contact persons at interpack and their product innovations in the exhibitor and product database in the run-up to the fair.

The relaunch of exhibitor profiles was rolled out in mid-July via all Messe Düsseldorf online portals and features several new features.

Expansion of digital services

Companies need to present their activities and products in the best possible way, not only in the exhibition halls, but also online. The new exhibitor profile makes this possible,” said Wolfram N Diener, CEO of Messe Düsseldorf.

We are increasingly focusing on the platforms that we can offer our customers in physical and digital form. On our online portals, our fairs take place 365 days a year. They are the first points of contact for their respective industries. In order to offer our customers the greatest possible benefit, we keep in regular contact with them and continuously develop our digital services such as online portals.

The database gives visitors a better overview of exhibitors and the products they offer. The practical sorting of products, a modern and clear design and the possibility to filter according to personal interests make this possible.

The ability to get in touch quickly before the show makes planning easier. From the perspective of interpack, the platform also offers the possibility of registering favorite exhibitors, products and events in the “myOrganizer”. In this way, nothing stands in the way of an effective visit.

The exhibitor and product database is now available on and is constantly updated with new information and new products. interpack will take place in Düsseldorf from 4 to 10 May 2023.

The Covid-19 pandemic led to the nationwide lockdown on March 25, 2020. It will be two years tomorrow as I write this. What have we learned during this time? Perhaps the sense of resilience as small businesses like ours have had to rely on our resources and the forbearance of our employees as we struggled to produce our business platforms.

The printing and packaging industries have been lucky, although the commercial printing industry has yet to recover. We learned about the digital transformation affecting commercial printing and packaging. Ultimately, digital will help print grow in a country where we are still far behind in our paper and print consumption and where digital is an advanced technology that will only increase the demand for print for the foreseeable future.

Web analytics show that we now have readership in North America and Europe among the 90 countries where our five platforms are present. Our traffic, which more than doubled in 2020, sometimes increased by 50% in 2021. And advertising, which had collapsed in 2020 and 2021, began to come back in January 2022.

As the economy approaches real growth with irregularities and shortages, we look forward to the PrintPack India exhibition in Greater Noida. We are again mandated to produce the Show Daily over the five days of the show from May 26 to 30, 2022.
