Collaboration and interdisciplinary work are an important part of the research infrastructure at UNC School of Medicine, often leading to some of the most exciting and significant discoveries. To support and help grow collaborative and interdisciplinary efforts at the school, the School of Medicine’s Office of Research has updated its faculty database to be more conducive to bonding. of research.

The new database features professors actively conducting research as well as newly added clinicians who spend most of their time seeing patients but who may be interested in pursuing research opportunities. With this inclusion, the Office of Research hopes to not only foster collaborations, but also help generate new translational science initiatives. The database is accessible directly online as well as on the OoR website.

All faculty affiliated with the School of Medicine are encouraged to visit the collaborative faculty database and submit their information through the submission page. Teachers who already have an entry in the database should send any necessary updates to Trisha Dant.
