Gathr launches consumer targeting database

In the United States, digital marketing agency Gathr has launched a service called 1st Party Database, to allow consumer brands to define their “ideal audience” for targeted communications, advertisements and reviews of new products.
The new database contains proprietary consumer attributes, as well as demographic data, and Gathr metrics include behavioral data, purchase trends and history. The tool allows brands to ask specific questions to further narrow their audience, targeting high-value customers who were previously hard to reach and identify. Additionally, if the database does not include an attribute a brand is looking for, Gathr will recruit a specific audience list for that business at no additional cost.
Individuals in the database willingly share their information in exchange for Gathr-sponsored promotions, product samples, and gift cards. Company CEO and Co-Founder Bernardo Villela (pictured) comments, “After talking to hundreds of brands and hearing their most pressing needs, we decided to focus Gathr’s strategy on leveraging our most valuable asset – our unique proprietary database.We understand that consumer packaged goods brands struggle to find and reach the perfect consumer, and we are uniquely positioned to provide the precision consumer data that will improve reach and advertising investments”.
